House of Slide: Wilds Part II

May I present to you, Part two of House of Slide: Wilds! I'm excited that I'm still on schedule!

In the world of the House of Slide, Helen is caught in an internal war of one of the most Bloodthirsty Red Houses, Carve.

Two brother fight for control over the House, and of her. Matthew, the enigmatic knife of Carve, an assassin Hybrid will do anything to keep Helen, even if it means losing his own humanity in the struggle against his brother, Jarvais, the legal Son of Carve who has demon taint running through his veins and who wants to destroy everything Matthew loves, including Helen.

In the gripping second installment, Helen must choose between love and duty, and fight for what she can't live without.

As per usual, I'm struggling with blurbs. That's one, and here's another!

In the second installment of House of Slide: Wilds, Helen, trapped between an internal war of a Bloodthirsty Red House finds her heart ensnared against her better judgment and her conscience.

Only with the assistance of Ancients whose power could shake the world can Helen reclaim her mind, her heart, and her soul. Matthew, the knife of Carve is the enigmatic assassin musician whose love letters stole her heart years before, but can a love based on something as intangible as words survive the onslaught of a jealous brother whose blood runs with demon taint?

Pretty gripping, right?

Updated SWAP!

It's happening! Cocoon Sweater unfurling!

Yesterday was so exciting! I found my fabric although I lost my cut out button down, so the plan has changed to another cream t-shirt instead. I like the look of the combined yarns, the dark, dark olive and the sagey minty, green. I figured out the math for this thing, with the help of my fearless 11 year old.

I've used up one ball of yarn, so we'll see how big the thing turns out!

SWAP is almost over!!!

I have decided that I'm going to finish SWAP, really, really quickly. We'll see if that happens. Knitting a sweater, really, really quickly, does that happen?

This is my SWAP plan. I'm changing it up a little bit. The blue skirt? I want an olive instead. I was looking in my closet for an olive skirt, not a blue one. The blue pants? Swapping them out for a pair of store bought blue jeans. The rust coat and leggings? Swapping them for cream linen suit. So, more spring/summer, but still basically the same. Ish.

I'm trying to organize this thing. First up, what I want most. That's the Olive Sweater and a Skirt. I'm thinking that this Pattern on Revelry will be a good basis of it, but I'm going to completely make it up. We'll see how that goes. I'm going to combine two green yarns, one medium, one lace weight, and see what happens. It will be interesting, anyway. I have 2 weeks to knit a sweater. And make an olive skirt. I have no idea what kind it will be, something handkerchief/fluttery or asymmetrical wrap, I don't know. But I have two weeks for that too.

This is my Schedule:
1- Olive Sweater, Olive Skirt
2-T-shirts and Olive Pants
3- button-down, dress
4-linen suit
And if I can do those things by the end of April, I will win the prize of Most Crazy Procrastinator Ever!!!!

Wish me luck.
