I'm so sexy, it hurts!

I'm having the best time with these felt dolls. 

This is a doll I made from my own design. The eyes I got from a couple manga drawing books, I embroidered them. Sean's ice blue eyes, voila! Oh, this is Sean Fielding from my Watergirl series. I gave him ears and toes! And a nose. Super fun. I wish they had more patterns for boy dolls so I wouldn't have to finangle the jeans over and over until they fit. 

The Water Lost Rewrite

I'm rewriting Water Lost. I pulled the book because it's all wrong, and my stats crashed and I'm such a crazy person for doing this writing thing, blah, blah, blah. So I am NOT writing Watergirl 4. I'm rewriting Watergirl 3. Total rewrite. Maybe be able to use two scenes hacked to pieces in the rewrite. On the upside, I'm almost a third of the way through the rewrite, and I'm tentatively liking it.


There wasn't anything wrong with Water Lost except that it was the wrong book. Why did I put an issues book in my Watergirl, light and fluffy, world? No idea. Issues books belong in contemporary fiction. Not Watergirl. Although they're important and stuff, too heavy, serious, you know. that kind of thing.

Change the cover, title, the whole thing. Maybe Water Curses or Water Genicide (for Gen, you get it? No? Never mind)

I'm feeling very asdfahw@$%rcoiwh about it. Trying not to notice the rewrite until it's over, edited, perfected and republished. Right now I'm supposed to be focusing on BB2. But maybe it's all wrong too. Maybe it's actually a spy noire book or something random. AGH the AGONY of my ARTISTIC LIFE!!!!!

Unicorn Girl

Man, I've been eying this for awhile, so when my 6 year old had a birthday party to go to, that was the perfect excuse to buy the pattern. I whipped this up in... ten hours? HA! Not a quick project, but super fun. Super complicated. I'm going to make a green one with some spikes down the back for a dragon for my son's birthday next week. Lots of time, right? Of course!

A few things, the right ear piece is messed up, so just copy the left one. Oh! the dress is too small. You can't really tell, but her body is squished together to get it to stay on, and I think the snaps are going to pop. Still, super cute. Oh, and the pattern doesn't have any clear photos of front and back. I provided some although I have no idea if that's how the pattern was actually supposed to go.
